Your data rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your Boondock data. The fastest path is inside the app at Settings > Privacy. If you do not have access to the app, follow the manual procedure below.
In-app controls
- Export my data (GDPR Article 15, CCPA Right to Know). We email you a download link within 30 days.
- Delete my account (GDPR Article 17, CCPA Right to Delete). We schedule deletion 14 days out; sign in again to cancel.
- Opt out of data sale (CCPA). Acknowledgment; Boondock does not sell personal data.
Manual request (no app access)
Email privacy@boondock.app from the address you signed up with. Include:
- Which right you are exercising (access, deletion, etc.)
- The email tied to your Apple or Google sign-in
- For deletion: a single line of confirmation that you understand the 14-day grace window after which the account is purged
We verify identity by responding to your sign-in email, not by asking for additional documents. If we cannot match the email to a Boondock account, we will say so within 30 days per GDPR.
What we hold
See the full privacy policy for categories collected, retention, and third-party processors. Short version:
- Account email from Apple or Google
- Saved sites (your favorites)
- Subscription status from RevenueCat
- Anonymized in-app analytics for 12 months
- Crash reports for 90 days
- Location queries are not persisted
California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and EU users have the same access in this app as in this manual flow.
